Liked and Hated it.
Two things I found Ironic: Christian sets the tenor for the show by saying, "If you're one of those who love Pink Floyd but can't stand Rodgers' politics, now would be a good time to fuck off to the pub." It seems he hates everything and thinks the whole world will just sing Kumbaya.
His new song, The Bar, presents a great concept where we are all in the bar, as he says, where you can meet friends and trade ideas without fear or favor. I'm sure I would not be welcomed at his bar based on his concert.
The visuals were outstanding, the stage was amazing. I loved the music, but I left the concert not excited that I just saw a band legend, feeling a little blah. Not what I want from a show.
He definitely wants us all to keep our "Hands off or his STACK." If he hates commercialism, why charge such prices based on proximity to his presence? Why not a flat rate for all seats first come first serve? Hates commercialism (just see the MONEY section of the show).
